Fluidlink Hydraulics has a wide experience of providing bespoke
solutions to specific customer requirements and our Systems and
Projects department have had success in many areas of industry.
Case Study 1
2 large multinational manufacturers of mobile and military equipment
each presented us with a similar challenge.
To design and produce a 24 volt unit capable of rapidly being able to
retract and lower a telescopic boom on a vehicle should the main
hydraulic system become damaged or inoperable.
Working closely with engineers from each company, Fluidlink were able
to produce prototypes, which successfully passed the stringent quality
requirements and field tests.
Fluidlink units are now written in to the specifications for both
vehicles, which are in use worldwide. |

Case Study 2
A new generation of Police Station designed to detain low risk
offenders required a secure vehicle entry and exit system into an
enclosed yard from which the offenders could be transferred in to the
station.
Working with the main security contractor, Fluidlink produced Hydraulic
Power Units and Hydraulic Rams of 4 metre and 5 metre stroke to open
and close the vehicular access doors from a remote base inside the
Police Station.

Case Study 3
A UK manufacturer of emergency lighting towers developed a new tower
with a hydraulic mast. The need arose for these towers to be easily
transported and user friendly.
Fluidlink designed a
12v power pack complete with mounting frame and "plug and play"
electrics and hydraulics, enabling the client to trailer mount the
whole rig and take it to sites previously inaccessible.
